The Life and Times of John “Skip” Bailey

John “Skip” Bailey
John “Skip” Bailey
1912 - 1943

The association with my good Australian internet and email friend Phil Buzzard began when we undertook a joint project - one of his ancestors, his great-great grandfather William Hunt, was born in Tharston in 1828 and ended up being deported to Australia in 1853. It is with great pleasure that I host the pages on “John ‘Skip’ Bailey ” on his behalf.
In these webpages are details of the life of John “Skip” Bailey and the terrible tragedy in WWII at the hands of the Japanese.
