• 18 Oct 2023 : THS : Meeting is being held on Wednesday 18th October at Wacton Village Hall, the talk starting at 7:30p.m. The topic of the talk by Nicholas Chapman is the work of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and it is hoped that there will be reference to the Tharston WW1 Fallen.►

• 29 Oct 2023 : DFHG : “An Eccentric Look at East Anglia”, a talk by Charlie Haylock. ►
• 15 Nov 2023 : DFHG : “A Canning Town Lad at War”, a talk by Robert Rogers ►
• 20 Dec 2023 : DFHG : Christmas meeting. ►
• 17 Jan 2024 : DFHG : “The Golding Family – from Workhouse Boy to Brigadier in 3 generations”, a talk by Rosemary Steer. ►
• 21 Feb 2024 : DFHG : “The History Using Old Newspapers”, a talk by Pip Wright. ►
• 20 Mar 2024 : DFHG : “The History of Hats and Hat Making”, a talk by Ian Waller. ►
• 17 Apr 2024 : DFHG : “A Very Edwardian Murder”, Nick Woods takes us to the year 1902 and a young woman is found dead in a sleepy Suffolk village. The accused is tried twice for her murder but not convicted. We examine the evidence and YOU get to decide. ►
