Thrandeston War Memorial

The memorial is in the churchyard of the Church of St. Margaret of Antioch, Little Green, Thrandeston (image above) and shows the fallen in the First World War with later additions for the Second World War.

The memorial was dedicated on 01 February 1920 by the Reverend A G Lee. The Reverend Lee was the father of Richard and Edward Lee whose names are on the memorial.

The manufacturers of the memorial were Messrs G Maile and Son Ltd and the cost was £113.The Memorial was first listed on 12 September 2018 and is Grade II. The listing entry number is 1458769.

No connection to Thrandeston has been found for Arthur, Charles and Ernest STEVENS. We will be very grateful if anyone has any information regarding this.
