Searches were made for all military personel who had a connection, however remote, to the Lophams, using the war memorial inscriptions, the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, and others sources. Quite a number came to light, and it is all these who are listed below, showing what has been found out about them - for some there is an abundance of information, others almost nothing. To show which parish the soldier belonged to, there is either a (North Lopham) or (South Lopham) beside the name. The symbol indicates the man lost his life, either killed in action or later as a direct result of wounds received in battle. The indicates the man was wounded in the line of duty. The candle shows the man is on a Lopham War Memorial. The indicates he was also linked to other nearby villages.
